In Loving Memory of Kelli Hardy

Kelli Hardy Memorial

October is Breast Cancer
Awareness Month
Every two minutes a woman is
diagnosed with breast cancer.
This year more than 211,000 new
cases of breast cancer are expected in
the United States.
70% of all breast cancers are
found through breast self-exams.
Not all lumps are detectable to touch.
Therefore, regular mammograms are
recommended.
When breast cancer is found early,
the five-year survival rate is 96%.
One woman in eight who lives to age
85 will develop breast cancer in her
lifetime.
Breast cancer is the leading cause
of death in women between the ages of
40 and 55.
1,600 men are expected to
be diagnosed with breast cancer
this year

Pink
I walk in honor of
Kelli Hardy.
Pink is not a color
I often wear.
Pink is not a color I like.
But pink is everywhere.
Pink symbolizes something
very important.
I wear pink to show my
support.
Pink is my mom‛s color.
Pink is the word I use to
describe my mom.
~ Sara Hardy

And With
A Heartfelt Thanks
We wish to express our
heartfelt thanks for the love
and support we received during
Kelli‛s struggle with breast
cancer. The numerous cards,
meals, flowers and other
acts of friendship and love
were overwhelming. A special
thanks to our family, friends,
church, schools and to David‛s
employer, L&M Radiator for all
you did for us. Words cannot
express our gratitude.
We wear pink in memory
of our wife and mother.
God Bless you all.
David Hardy
